Terms & Conditions – Team-Building Day Competition
1. Promoter
This competition is run by Carlingford Adventure Centre, Tholsel Street, Carlingford, Co. Louth, Ireland.
2. Eligibility
• Open to sports teams with players aged between 9 and 18 years old at the time of entry.
• Entrants must be based in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
• Entry must be made by a responsible adult over 18 (e.g., team coach, parent, or guardian).
• Maximum of one entry per team.
3. How to Enter
To enter, teams must:
• Submit an official entry form via the Carlingford Adventure Centre website.
• Include either:
– A team photo and a short written explanation (max 100 words), or
– A short video explaining why your team deserves to win.
• Follow @carlingfordadventure on Instagram or Facebook and share the competition post on your team’s account.
• Incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries will not be considered.
• Entries must be received by 23:59 on Monday, 23rd June 2025.
• By entering, you agree to sign up to the Carlingford Adventure Centre mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Prize Details
• One winning team will receive a Team-Building Day at Carlingford Adventure Centre, which includes:
– A full-day adventure activity programme
– Lunch for all team members
– Expert-led team-building sessions
– Maximum of 30 children per team
• Every valid entry will also receive a €100 voucher for Carlingford Adventure Centre (minimum booking terms may apply and must be redeemed before 5th October 2025).
• The prize must be redeemed on or before 5th October 2025.
• The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
• The winner will be selected by a panel of Carlingford Adventure Centre staff based on creativity, effort, and suitability of the entry.
• The winning team will be contacted by phone on Wednesday, 25th June 2025.
• If the winner cannot be reached within 5 working days, another team may be selected.
6. Use of Entries
• By entering, participants agree that Carlingford Adventure Centre may use submitted photos, videos, and written content for marketing and promotional purposes across social media, website, and print.
• Winning and selected entries may be showcased publicly.
7. Data Protection
• Personal information provided will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and issuing prizes.
• Entrants’ data will not be shared with third parties without consent, in accordance with GDPR.
• Subscription to the mailing list is required for entry, and all communications will comply with GDPR guidelines.
8. General
• Carlingford Adventure Centre reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
• Entry into the competition implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
