Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Carlingford Adventure Centre’s relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

The term ‘Carlingford Adventure Centre’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Tholsel Street, Carlingford, Co Louth. Our company registration number is 195 345. The term ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

Booking terms and conditions

Any acceptance of your booking will be subject to the following conditions:

  • BOOKING FORM: All bookings must be on the official booking form and completed and signed by the person who is responsible for the booking (provisional booking may be made by phone but we must receive deposit within 10 days).
    • (Not applicable to camp bookings, please complete guest details on booking)
  • DEPOSIT: A deposit of 40% per person is the booking fee and forms part of the payment of the programme. The deposit must be received before the reservation can be confirmed. YOUR DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE
    • (Not applicable to camp bookings-Full payment is required for camp)
  • PAYMENT OF BALANCE: Must be received 4 weeks prior to date of arrival. Non-compliance with this condition will result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.
    • (Not applicable to camp bookings-Full payment is required for camp)
  • LATE BOOKING: A booking made on a date less than 4 weeks prior to commencement date of booking must be accompanied by payment of the full amount before booking can be confirmed.
  • RIGHT TO RESCHEDULE: Inclement weather conditions may cause us to cancel or rearrange a programme. This is always a last minute decision. If this is the case, please choose an alternative land or Skypark activity as a back up.
  • CANCELLATION: In the event of any confirmed booking being cancelled – 4 weeks or less prior to commencement date of booking – the amount in full will be forfeit. Deposit is non refundable. This includes reduction in numbers.
    • (Not Applicable to Camps- payment is non refundable for camp bookings)
  • CANCELLATION: In the event of any confirmed booking being cancelled more than 4 weeks prior to arrival and full payment has been made. A 40% deposit will be retained and a refund can be requested for the remaining 60%.
    • (Not Applicable to Camps- payment is non refundable for camp bookings)
  • RIGHT TO DECLINE: Carlingford Adventure Centre has the right to decline a booking for any reason.
  • RIGHT TO CANCEL: Carlingford Adventure Centre reserves the right to cancel a programme should a participant prove to be difficult or pose a danger to other members of the group or staff.

Persons participating in activities do so voluntarily & at their own risk & no claims shall be made against Carlingford Adventure Centre in respect of injury or loss arising there from. Participants are, therefore, advised to obtain their own personal accident or other insurances.

  • PANDEMIC: In the event of bookings being cancelled due to a lockdown caused by COVID-19 or another pandemic any payment you have made to us prior is secured. You will receive a voucher for the monetary value to be used on an alternative suitable date. No refunds are available but booking credit will be honoured for up to five years from the date of payment.

Please NOTE the above programme outlining your proposed Activity package can be amended, please check it carefully and if you wish to change or amend any of the activities, please let us know at time of booking confirmation. Due to student/instructor ratio’s large groups will be split into smaller groups.

  • Please be advised that that all Schools, Youth Groups and Summer Camp participants are required to bring their own sleeping bag and pillow, alternatively you can purchase a bed linen pack for a cost of €5pp. These bed packs need to be pre ordered.
