DISCLAIMER & REGISTRATION FORM FOR ALL ACTIVITIES

Carlingford Adventure Centre will take every precaution for your safety. When safety equipment is provided, you must wear/use it. You are required to give your full attention to safety briefings and training, and comply with all instructions given. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises, and participants under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be asked to leave with no entitlement to a refund or credit. Carlingford Adventure Centre takes no responsibility for damaged or lost property.

By signing below, you confirm and understand that the nature of the activities involves a risk of injury and death. You assume full responsibility for any risk of harm or injury that might occur due to participation in any sport, event, or activity. You release Carlingford Adventure Centre from all liability, costs, and damages that might arise from participation in any Carlingford Adventure sport, event, or activity.

Responsibility of Leaders

It is the responsibility of group leaders to ensure that all members of their group respect our staff and other groups in the Centre.

Booking Conditions

Booking Form

All bookings must be made on the official booking form and completed and signed by the person responsible for the booking. A provisional booking may be made by phone, but we must receive a deposit within 10 working days. A booking will not be considered confirmed until your deposit is received.

Deposit

A deposit of 40% per person is the booking fee and forms part of the payment for the programme. The deposit must be received before the reservation can be confirmed. Your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payment of Balance

The balance must be received 4 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Failure to comply with this condition will result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of deposits.

Late Booking

A booking made less than 4 weeks prior to the commencement date must be accompanied by payment of the full amount before the booking can be confirmed.

Cancellation

In the event of any confirmed booking being cancelled 4 weeks or less prior to the commencement date, the full amount will be forfeited. The deposit remains non-refundable.

Right to Decline

Carlingford Adventure Centre reserves the right to decline a booking for any reason.

Right to Cancel

Carlingford Adventure Centre reserves the right to cancel a programme should a participant prove to be difficult or pose a danger to other members of the group or staff.

Right to Reschedule

Inclement weather conditions may require us to cancel or rearrange a programme.

Risk & Insurance

Persons participating in activities do so voluntarily and at their own risk, and no claims shall be made against Carlingford Adventure Centre in respect of injury or loss arising therefrom. Participants are therefore advised to obtain their own personal accident or other insurance.

Pandemic

In the event of bookings being cancelled due to a lockdown caused by COVID-19 or another pandemic, any payment made prior will be secured. You will receive a voucher for the monetary value to be used on an alternative, suitable date. No refunds are available, but booking credit will be honoured for up to two years from the date of payment.

Lost Property

Carlingford Adventure Centre takes no responsibility for any items that go missing.

Activity Availability

Activity choices are subject to availability. Carlingford Adventure Centre endeavours to deliver all activities chosen, but in certain circumstances, we may have to offer alternatives due to adverse weather conditions. Water activities are weather and tide dependent.

Please Note: The programme outlining your proposed activity package can be amended. Please check it carefully, and if you wish to change or amend any activities, let us know at the time of booking confirmation. Due to student/instructor ratios, large groups will be split into smaller groups.

Understanding & Undertaking

I have read and understand the booking conditions and mobile phone policy and am willing to abide by them. I am physically fit and confident in water to take part in the activities. I will adhere to all safety regulations. I consent to being examined by a doctor in case of emergency.

I acknowledge that there is a level of risk involved in adventure activities and I participate on that basis. I accept that no liability accrues to Carlingford Adventure Centre or its agents in respect of any injury, accident, or damage suffered.

Payment of deposit or a signed booking form will be regarded as evidence of acceptance of and consent to these conditions.

Medical Declaration

It is an express requirement that all participants in activities note below any condition, medication, disability (mental or physical), illness, disease, or medical condition from which you have suffered or about which you have complained, that could in any way affect your safety or the safety of others. Your signature confirms your declaration of suitability to participate, either for yourself or for a participant you are signing on behalf of.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUR LEADERS TO ENSURE THAT YOUR GROUP RESPECT OUR STAFF AND OTHER GROUPS IN THE CENTRE

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Any acceptance of your booking will be subject to the following conditions:

BOOKING FORM: All bookings must be on the official booking form and completed and signed by the person who is responsible for the booking (provisional booking may be made by phone but we must receive deposit within 10 days).
DEPOSIT: A deposit of 40% per person is the booking fee and forms part of the payment of the programme. The deposit must be received before the reservation can be confirmed. YOUR DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE
PAYMENT OF BALANCE: Must be received 4 weeks prior to date of arrival. Non-compliance with this condition will result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.
